MIPS Research Symposium 2025

The MIPS Research Symposium 2025 will be a full-day event showcasing the breadth and impact of research across MIPS. The program will feature presentations, flash talks, and keynote speakers, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and celebrate the achievements of our research community.

Event Details

📅Date: Tuesday, 2 December 2025

📍Location: Monash Docklands campus - 750 Collins - 213-Auditorium

🕘Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM + Celebration and Networking 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

🔗Registration:  While the event is primarily aimed at Faculty researchers, we are keen to include HDR students. Therefore, we have two registration options:

  • Faculty researchers: Register here by 18 November 2025.
  • HDR students: Complete the EOI form by 18 November 2025.  Please note that completing the Eventbrite registration does not guarantee a place at this stage. HDR spots will be confirmed by 20 November, once Faculty researcher registrations are finalised.

Program Highlights: We will feature engaging sessions across our Therapeutic Program Areas (TPAs) and more, including:

  • Global Health
  • Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health
  • Neuroscience & Mental Health
  • Technology Development & Translation
🎉 Closing Celebration: We’ll wrap up the day around 5:00 PM with a celebratory gathering. An opportunity to connect, collaborate, and reflect on our shared achievements.

This is more than a symposium, it’s a celebration of our collective impact and a chance to be part of MIPS’ ongoing journey of excellence.

How to get there?
- By train: Hop off at Southern Cross Station and enjoy a 300m walk to the venue.
- By tram: Trams #11 and #48 stop right outside the venue.
- By bus: Routes 232, 235, and 237 stop directly in front of the building.
- By car: There’s no Monash parking but Wilson Parking operates behind the venue.
