Expanding our global network
Located in burgeoning, green Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, south west of Jakarta, the Monash Indonesia campus will be a state-of-the-art facility, setting a new benchmark for high-quality postgraduate facilities.
Architecturally designed, the brand new campus in Green Office Park 9 will house the best specialist campus library in Indonesia: Digitally advanced, interactive and with unprecedented online access to an enormous catalogue of materials.
Our campus in greater Jakarta, the economic heart of the region, allows Monash to make even stronger and deeper connections across our dynamic network of teaching locations in Malaysia, Suzhou and Mumbai.
Monash and Indonesia - A strong foundation
We’re building on a long and proud relationship, where Monash has graduated more Indonesian citizens than any other university outside Indonesia. Our alumni network is highly engaged and our Industry engagement team along with the Monash Herb Feith Indonesian Engagement Centre builds Monash relationships with industry and government.
Monash Indonesia will be a research intensive campus, set to deliver more groundbreaking collaborations like the Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments (RISE) program and the World Mosquito Program.

Mr Robert
I chose Monash for its reputation and quality of teaching. I studied the Master of Data Science, which provided me with so many great things - exposure, access to experts, industry and research projects, a positive learning environment, culture, and opportunities to achieve.
The course was multi-disciplinary and provided a balanced and flexible structure between computer science, machine learning, business, and mathematics and had numerous world-class lecturers and professors who supported my study journey and beyond.
The Master of Data Science at Monash in Indonesia is uniquely tailored to Indonesia and through the course, research and industrial partnerships, will contribute to creating high-quality future talent who can truly impact the technological, social and economic development of Indonesia.

Iwan Murty
I chose to study at Monash for its reputation with quality business courses. I still remember my early lecturers, who influenced my profession as a market researcher. I was amazed at the depth and knowledge they had, having worked professionally, then moving into academia.
I have no doubt that Monash in Indonesia will have the same quality of teaching, depth of knowledge and the global network to provide students with a world-class business degree. Business courses need a good balance of the foundations, theory and laws of business, combined with the practicality and pragmatism of doing business. Offering these degrees in Indonesia designed with global theories and foundations, and integrated with local cases, will give students a solid understanding about doing business in Indonesia.

Patrick Simanjuntak
Monash for me is a quality institution and has a strong brand in Indonesia. The teaching environment was helpful, clear and informative. I really enjoyed studying in great facilities with great people.
The new Monash campus in Indonesia will further strengthen the business and professional network in Indonesia, create wider access for graduates and positively impact the Monash alumni community in Indonesia. Students will have opportunities to be more prepared and hands-on for their professional journey. I’m looking forward to having Monash’s world-class, professional education here in Indonesia.
