Indonesia campus courses
A first for Indonesia, Monash’s global impact is expanding to a brand new Jakarta campus, accepting Masters students from October 2021.
Fully owned by Monash University and operating with the full support of both the Indonesian and Australian governments, Monash Indonesia will create exciting research collaborations, advanced professional development for graduates and commercial opportunities for industry.

Expanding our global network
Located in burgeoning, green Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, south west of Jakarta, the Monash Indonesia campus will be a state-of-the-art facility, setting a new benchmark for high-quality postgraduate facilities.
Architecturally designed, the brand new campus in Green Office Park 9 will house the best specialist campus library in Indonesia: Digitally advanced, interactive and with unprecedented online access to an enormous catalogue of materials.
Our campus in greater Jakarta, the economic heart of the region, allows Monash to make even stronger and deeper connections across our dynamic network of teaching locations in Malaysia, Suzhou and Mumbai.
Monash and Indonesia - A strong foundation
We’re building on a long and proud relationship, where Monash has graduated more Indonesian citizens than any other university outside Indonesia. Our alumni network is highly engaged and our Monash Indonesia Representative Office (MIRO) along with the Monash Herb Feith Indonesian Engagement Centre builds Monash relationships with industry and government.
Monash Indonesia will be a research intensive campus, set to deliver more groundbreaking collaborations like the Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments (RISE) program and the World Mosquito Program.

What can I study?
Monash Indonesia is a postgraduate campus, and will be offering Master and PhD degrees, as well as executive programs and micro-credentials in areas of high demand and a relevant sustainable future focus. The first intake of courses will be Masters programs in the areas of Data Science, Urban Design, Business Innovation, and Public Policy and Management.
