Who we are
The Biomedicine Discovery Institute AI-Protein Design Program is the Monash Node of the Australian Protein Design Initiate, co-founded by A/Prof. Gavin Knott and Dr. Rhys Grinter. The Monash Node is led by a multidisciplinary team of research leaders and specialist staff. As the technology deployed to design these new-to-nature biologics progresses rapidly, our team, composed of protein chemists, computer scientists, structural biologists and software implementation specialists, are constantly implementing and testing systems to deliver the best outcome tailored to each project.
