Dr Gabriela Fernando – Assistant Professor, Public Health, Monash University, Indonesia

Dr Gabriela Fernando is an Assistant Professor of Public Health and part of the foundational academic team at Monash University Indonesia. As a health researcher, Dr Gabriela’s key areas of interests are in interdisciplinary concepts across non-communicable diseases, social determinants of health, global health systems and policy, health financing and equity, gender and financial inclusion, women’s leadership, and gender equality, and engaging with multi-sectoral stakeholders, with a focus on low-and middle-income countries. Find out more

Francisca Kaligis, MD – Psychiatrists from Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia/ Indonesian Psychiatric Association

Dr. Fransiska Kaligis, SpKJ(K) graduated as a medical doctor at the University of Indonesia in 2001. She then continued her specialist education in psychiatry at the University of Indonesia Specialist Medical Education Program and graduated in 2008. In 2011, Dr. Fransiska Kaligis completed her subspecialty and holds a Consultant degree in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the University of Indonesia. In 2022, he received his Doctorate in Medicine, University of Indonesia.

Dr. Fransiska Kaligis is a Clinical Educator in the FKUI Psychiatry Study Program with the current functional position as Lector. He is an expert in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, currently listed as staff at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division, Department of Mental Health Sciences FKUI-RSCM

Adi Palguna – Orygen

Adi, a passionate youth mental health advocate, draws upon his personal experiences with mental health disorders and suicide attempts to foster a positive change in the lives of Indonesian young people. His passion led him to establish dengarkanaku.org, a community centred on promoting youth mental health. Recognised for his efforts, Adi was nominated as Orygen's 2022-2023 ASEAN-Australia Youth Mental Health fellow. Through this platform, he furthers his commitment to promoting young people’s mental health across the country.
