Our panel will explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), together with the Internet of Things (IoT) and big geo-spatial data analysis, in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainability by allowing us to process, analyse, and make sense of large amounts of environmental data from various sources.

Climate change is one of the greatest threats to human health and wellbeing worldwide. In Indonesia, the impact of climate change is particularly pronounced due to its tropical location and vulnerability to natural disasters such as floods, droughts, and landslides. Indonesia's youth face significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, and climate change exacerbates these problems by increasing stressors such as displacement, food insecurity, and loss of livelihoods. Climate change can also affect youth mental health indirectly through changes in social and cultural norms and a decline in the quality of education and healthcare services.
Our panellists will discuss the need to increase awareness for youth mental health, how climate change continues to affect youth mental health, and the existing initiatives in place to support youth mental health in Indonesia.
