Engaging Vulnerable Communities: A Toolkit for Climate Resilience
This research project, funded through KONEKSI, brought together an interdisciplinary team of researchers from Indonesia and Australia who have worked in partnership with community groups from Eastern Indonesia to develop a Toolkit for Climate Resilience by Engaging Vulnerable Communities.
Building resilience against climate change necessitates significant social, cultural, economic, and political change. This Toolkit for Climate Resilience by Engaging Communities provides concise guidance, recommendations, and links to additional resources to support and understand the challenges faced by people with disability, diverse women, and older people in Lombok, Makassar, and Kupang, Eastern Indonesia.
This website supports donors, funders, governments, policymakers, Non-Government organisations (NGOs) and researchers across Indonesia, Australia and the Indo-Pacific to collaborate with and support vulnerable communities in enhancing their resilience to climate change.
