University promotions recognise academic excellence for Monash BDI staff

Congratulations to each of the eighteen Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) staff who were successful with their recent academic promotions.

We are delighted to announce that we have added nine new Professors, four new Associate Professors and five new Senior Research Fellows to the institute.

Professor John Carroll, Director of the Monash BDI, extended his congratulations, emphasising that these promotions underscored the exceptional achievements in research and teaching,

“Our scientists are deeply committed to advancing discovery research and nurturing the future generation of scientists. Our institute thrives on the collective efforts of our scientists and educators,” Professor Carroll said.

He added, “Congratulations to each of you, and sincere thanks for your unwavering commitment to excellence and your significant contributions.”

  • Associate Professor Peter Boag: Head of the Developmental and RNA Biology Laboratory
  • Associate Professor Brad Broughton: Co-Head of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Pharmacology Group
  • Associate Professor Remy Robert: Head of the Therapeutic Antibodies for Inflammation Laboratory
  • Associate Professor Adam Rose: Head of the Nutrient Metabolism and Signalling Laboratory
