Alexandra Ure
Associate Professor Alexandra Ure (Alex) is a clinical psychologist and the Principal Psychologist for Research at Monash Health in Melbourne, Australia, where she is responsible for the strategic creation and oversight of translational research for psychology. She is also an Associate Professor with the Department of Paediatrics at Monash University and an Honorary Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI).
Alex has been working clinically within public health for almost two decades and has attracted more than $8 million in research funding. Her program of work is focused on co-creating, implementing and evaluating healthcare practice to reduce structural inequity and better support children and families with complex needs. She works collaboratively with individuals with lived experience and underserved communities to inform and enhance this work.
