Education Program in Reproduction & Development (EPRD)
We offer a range of on- and off-campus practical short courses and workshops which are geared to employers and employees within the IVF Industry. Courses are designed to be flexible and training is arranged to suit individuals or groups.
Learning Conversations: Feedback and debriefing practices in clinical practice and in simulation
Through this course, students will examine how this type of communication – framed as learning conversations – can contribute to learning and teaching processes.
Scenario Design for Simulation-based Education
In this online course, particpants will design scenarios to create immersive learning experiences, and review a range of existing scenario templates.
Learning and Teaching with Simulation
Using a systematic approach to simulation-based education, in this online course, we will teach students how to design, implement, and evaluate simulations.
National Health Education and Training in Simulation (NHET - Sim)
The NHET-Sim Programme is designed for individuals from all professions across Australia who currently or intend to use healthcare simulation as an educational method with students or health professionals.
Assessment in Health Professions Education (online)
This online course is designed to develop or extend participants' knowledge about assessment, and provides tailored frameworks to refine the implementation of assessment in their own professional contexts.
Fundamentals of Clinical Coaching (FCC)
The aim of the course is to develop the coaching skills of clinicians. The major content is the provision of knowledge on theory and key concepts in professional coaching and opportunities to develop the skills for enactment of high-quality clinical coaching.
One-Sim Program (Obstetrics and Neonatal Emergency Simulation)
The ONE-Sim workshop provides opportunities for doctors, midwives, and nurses from different specialties (including GP, maternity, paediatrics, ED, anaesthetics) to practise the technical and teamwork skills which are known to have a positive impact on the management of obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
