Ashwini Bennett

Dr Ashwini Bennett is a clinical and laboratory haematologist (FRACP FRCPA) at Monash Health, and is an Adjunct Lecturer with Monash University. Her professional interests include thrombosis haemostasis, immunohaematology (e.g. immune thrombocytopenia, ITP), obstetric haematology, coagulation assays and transfusion and she is actively involved in various professional and research activities in these areas.

Dr Bennett is a member of the International Society of Laboratory Haematology (ISLH) Haemostasis and Platelets committee, the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) Haematology Advisory Committee, and the Thrombosis Haemostasis Society of Australia and New Zealand (THANZ) Clinical Trials Group. She is a prior recipient of an ASTH scientific and education grant, HSANZ Investigator award, and the CSL Professor Heimburger award.
