Jeremy Er

Dr Jeremy Er is clinical and laboratory haematologist at Monash Health and research officer in the Hawkins lab at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI). He has a special interest in myeloma and cellular therapies and completed a clinical fellowship in myeloma at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2022.

Dr Er was awarded the HSANZ Walking Up the Hill Foundation Myeloma scholarship and completed his PhD at WEHI in 2026. His research has been published in international journals including Blood, Nature Genetics and NEJM and he has presented at international conferences such as the International Myeloma Society annual meeting and American Society of Haematology annual meeting.

Dr Er remains actively involved in myeloma clinical trials. His current research focuses on investigating the myeloma bone marrow microenvironment through intravital imaging and spatial transcriptomics.
