Kathryn Connelly

Dr Kathryn Connelly is an early career academic clinician with a particular interest in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. She combines clinical work as a Rheumatologist at Monash Health, alongside research with the Monash University School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, where she is undertaking her PhD, alongside roles in teaching and supervision of medical students and junior doctors. Her current research focuses on outcome measurement in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), with the hope that this will support the successful development and approval of new effective treatments.
