Rangi Kandane-Rathnayake


Rangi is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Lupus and Arthritis Research Group at the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. She joined the Lupus and Arthritis Research Group in January 2015, and currently coordinates the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration (APLC). After completing her PhD in molecular epidemiology in respiratory diseases from the University of Melbourne in 2010, Rangi joined Monash University where she made the transition into clinical epidemiology initially in the field of transfusion research. She has been involved in several clinical quality registries including the Haemostasis Registry, Registry of Kidney Diseases and the Australian Bleeding Disorders Registry. Rangi has a keen interest in data management and data analysis. She is involved in manuscript preparation based on the data collected by the Monash Lupus Clinic.
