Ross Salvaris

Dr Ross Salvaris is a clinical and laboratory consultant haematologist at Monash Health with a special interest in clinical research in low-grade lymphoma. He is the co-lead of the low-grade lymphoma portfolio.  He is an active member of the Australasian Lymphoma Alliance and the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group where he was the medical writer for the chronic lymphocytic leukaemia working party and completed a two-year tenure as an Early Career Clinician Researcher. He aims to promote patient access to novel therapies through participation in clinical trials.

Ross commenced his haematology training in Perth at Fiona Stanley Hospital before completing his training in Melbourne at Austin Health. He then furthered his experience with a fellowship in lymphoma at both Monash Health and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

Ross has extensive experience in clinical trials including as a principal investigator. He currently leads trials at Monash Health treating patients with relapsed low-grade lymphoma, investigating the role of immunoglobulin replacement therapy and a novel T-cell engaging antibody in diffuse large B cell lymphoma. He recently co-led a phase IB/II investigator-initiated trial in the treatment of relapsed primary CNS lymphoma named the BICICL study.
