Why did you decide to study science?
I decided to study science because it opens so many opportunities for me to understand my real interests and passions.
What made you choose Monash Uni in particular?
Monash is one of the best Universities in Australia and when I came to Australia, it was always a dream for me to study here considering my visa situation thus I am so honoured and delighted that my dream has come true.
What's your favourite aspect of studying science?
I love meeting new people and getting to know their culture as well as studying as a group. The lecturers are super nice and supportive.
What do you plan to do when you graduate?
I am dedicated to study medicine after my science degree/ Art degree and become a Emergency Physician.
What has been the highlight of your science degree so far?
I have met so many people that I can call my best friends during this degree. Also, being able to study at a university as an Asylum Seeker student is an amazing experience that I will always cherish.
What's the biggest misconception you had about studying science before you started your course?
I haven’t had any misconceptions because my sister is studying the same degree, so she was always giving me the right information and updating me, which is a privilege.
If you were to give some advice to someone who's thinking about studying at Monash Science, what would you say?
I would say that it is an amazing degree which helps you to find the right pathway for the future as it opens so many doors which not a lot of degrees do. The environment and the lecturers are amazing as they are always there for the support.
