Students can apply to transfer from another university’s science-related degree into Monash Science.
Entry will be determined by a number of factors, including Year 12 results, the grades achieved during tertiary study and the duration of that study.
Applicants with an achieved ATAR of less than 70.00 or equivalent need to have completed a minimum of one year of equivalent full-time study load (1 EFTSL) or 48 credit points (or equivalent) of bachelor level study with a minimum 60% average.
Applicants with an achieved ATAR of above 70.00 or equivalent need to have completed a minimum of six months of equivalent full-time study load (0.5 EFTSL) or 24 credit points (or equivelant) of bachelor level study with a minimum 60% average.
All applicants must satisfy the equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites. Any science-based studies used to meet the prerequisite for admission must have been completed within five years of intended commencement.
