Productivity as a procrastinator

On 22 January 2025, Monash University, Indonesia students gathered to discuss the most notorious barrier to their productivity - procrastination. As part of MuSE (Meet up, Share and Engage), MBI (Master of Business Innovation) student, Diella Zuhdiyani, shares her powerful presentation and insights on the causes of procrastination and tips to stay productive.

Diella highlights that procrastination causes regret and declined health. Procrastination tends to result from negative feelings associated with a task. This may be anxiety, perfectionism, or overestimation of a task. The key to beat procrastination, she says, comes from emotion regulation and management of not only time, but energy as well. Inspired by Diella’s insights, students raise questions and discuss with one another about procrastination and how to manage their productivity, in this energising and enlightening episode of MuSE (Meet up, Share and Engage).
