Lauren Nisbet

Dr Lauren Nisbet is a clinician-researcher specialising in paediatric sleep. She was one of the first to complete the Monash University MBBS/PhD program (graduating in 2013), with her PhD investigating the cardiovascular effects of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea in preschool children winning two international awards. She is a paediatric sleep medicine sub-specialist in the Melbourne Children’s Sleep Centre at Monash Children’s Hospital. The focus of her research is the diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnoea in children and she holds an Equity Trustees and Monash Partners Clinician Fellowship for the investigation of simplified home sleep testing for children.
