Matteo Costacurta

Dr Costacurta graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua, Italy, in 2015. He obtained his PhD under the guidance of Prof Ricky Johnstone and Prof Jake Shortt at the Gene Regulation Laboratory (Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre) in 2021. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Blood Cancer Therapeutics Laboratory (Prof. Jake Shortt, Monash University), he also collaborated with BioCurate Pty Ltd, a joint venture between the Victorian Government, Monash University, and the University of Melbourne. Presently, he is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr Paul Yeh's newly established Blood Cancer Biomarkers Lab. His research interests span from Cancer Biology to Translational and Clinical Haematology.
