Peter Poon
A/Prof Peter Poon is an experienced palliative care specialist, a foundation fellow, and the immediate past president of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (RACP). He currently serves as the Supportive and Palliative Care Research Director and as a senior staff specialist at Monash Health. A/Prof Poon has extensive clinical experience providing care across inpatient, consultative, and community palliative care settings. His broad academic interests encompass palliative medicine service modelling, digital health and generative artificial intelligence applications, management of refractory pain, aged care palliative care, and patient-reported outcome measures.
