Rosanne Freak-Poli
Dr Rosanne Freak-Poli is a life-course epidemiologist and Senior Research Fellow in the Big Data, Epidemiology and Prevention Division. After completing her Ph.D. (Epidemiology), Dr Freak-Poli has been awarded an NHMRC Early Career Research Fellowship and a National Heart Foundation of Australia Postdoctoral Fellowship. She has made an internationally significant and impactful contribution to understanding the population impact of social determinants as risk factors for chronic disease.
Freak-Poli is currently the Project Manager of the Love Your Brain Project, which is a 3-arm randomised control trial to maximise the implementation of a digital platform for the primary prevention of stroke. The Love Your Brain Project is funded through a successful MRFF grant in collaboration with the Stroke Foundation. Primary prevention of chronic disease is aligned with Freak-Poli’s strong drive to reduce and address the social inequalities of health. Find out more from Dr Rosanne Freak-Poli's Monash profile.
