Tara Purvis
Dr Tara Purvis is an Early Career Research Fellow in the Translational Public Health and Evaluation Research Division. Tara has a clinical background in physiotherapy, over 13 years’ experience in research, with her PhD focused on exploring the effects of clinician behaviour change in reducing variation in acute stroke care, conferred in March 2023. She has expertise in mixed methods research, being involved in numerous health services research and program evaluations in the field of stroke and cardiovascular disease, including the Stroke Foundation National Audit Program and the Australian Stroke Alliance Golden Hour Project.
