Applications are now open for student leadership roles in our Peer Mentoring programs. Applications will close 5pm Tuesday 20 January 2026.

Help first-year students settle into university life.

Mentor	Senior Mentor
Support first-year students through regular check-ins and group activities.	Guide mentors, facilitate training, and help shape the program experience.

All current Monash University students are welcome to apply. Specific eligibility criteria may apply for each role—please refer to the individual application forms for details.
- Access Monash Mentoring supports secondary school students from under-represented backgrounds to explore and pursue university pathways.
- Peer Mentoring supports first-year Monash students as they transition into university life.
You cannot hold more than one role across the Access and Inclusion Services (AIS) mentoring programs (i.e., Peer Mentoring, PASS and Access Monash Mentoring). Please choose the program and role that best aligns with your interests and availability.
Time commitments vary by role:
- Mentors typically commit a few hours per week during semester.
- Senior Mentors, Coordinators, and Mentor Leaders may have additional responsibilities such as training, planning, and team support.

All student leaders receive comprehensive training, ongoing support, and access to leadership development opportunities throughout the year.
