Getting here
Our Global Engagement team welcomes and accommodates visits across all our Australian campuses and locations.
Clayton campus
Our main campus is located in the suburb of Clayton, 20 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, and easily accessible via a number of transport options. Travelling to the Clayton campus from the airport will take approximately 60 - 70 minutes by taxi, and from Melbourne CBD about 40 minutes (depending on traffic). This is often the best way to reach the Clayton campus for your first meeting.
Caulfield campus
Caulfield is our second biggest campus and was established in 1922 as a Technical school. It is now home to five faculties as well as the Monash University Museum of Art and a vibrant student community. Our Caulfield campus is located 24 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and takes about 45 minutes by car.
Parkville Campus
Our Parkville Campus is situated amongst Melbourne’s leading hospitals and institutes, in the heart of Australia’s top health and biomedical precinct. It's also home to our Pharmacy Faculty, and its research arm, the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. It is located in the suburb of Parkville, only 4 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and just a short 20 minute drive.
Peninsula Campus
The Peninsula Campus is the University's third-largest campus in Australia, and the heart of a vibrant health, business and education precinct. The campus specialises in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, occupational therapy, education and business administration courses, offering students a globally recognised education in a supportive community setting. Peninsula Campus is 35 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, and a 30 minute drive via the M3 freeway.
