If the vehicle is booked overnight and garaged in non-Monash premises, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) may be applicable. Any FBT arising from your usage of the pool vehicle will be charged to your Cost Centre and Fund after the end of the FBT period on 31 March.
If a booking is made but the vehicle is not picked up, the full cost of the booking will be charged.
Keys to the vehicles can be collected up to 30 minutes prior to the booking start time if the vehicle has been returned by the previous driver.
Drivers are responsible for:
Traffic fines and infringements incurred while using the pool vehicle.
Returning vehicles:
To the same location where they were collected from.
In a clean and tidy condition.
With a minimum of 1/4 tank of fuel. A fuel card is kept in each vehicle to pay for refueling.
No smoking, eating, or drinking in vehicles.
Monash provides comprehensive insurance for pool vehicles.
Insurance excess applies per incident and will be charged to the booking cost centre.
In the event of an accident:
Stop immediately and ensure safety.
