What are the minimum entry requirements?

To be considered for a course at Monash University, you must meet the minimum entry requirements. Many courses have higher entry requirements, prerequisite studies or extra requirements such as interviews. Find out more.

Entry pathways for international students

Discover flexible alternative entry options, including foundation programs, diplomas, and English language bridging courses designed to  support you access your dream Monash University degree.

Foundation Year

The Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) gives you the best preparation and support for success at Monash University. It's an internationally recognised pre-university program offered through Monash College.

Diplomas

Diplomas provide a guaranteed pathway (if scores are met) into the second year of a Monash undergraduate course in art, design and architecture, arts, business, engineering, education, information technology, or science.

English language courses

Monash English is our core language pathway for you to meet the English language requirements for Foundation Year, Diplomas, Monash Advanced Preparation Program and your Monash undergraduate course.

Monash Advanced Preparation Program (MAPP)

This program offers an accelerated pathway into your preferred Monash University undergraduate degree. This 16-week program builds your academic readiness through targeted in-person learning and personalised support.
