Scholarship applications
Semester 2 applications for a select number of scholarships are now closed.
Which scholarships you may be eligible for, and how you apply for them, differs according to your circumstances and who you are.
We’ve outlined a few of the differences below:
Current students and non-VTAC course applicants
Before you begin you will need:
- Your Monash student ID, current Monash email account, your applicant ID and password.
- To check which supporting documentation you may need to provide
- 20-40 minutes to complete your application
Please note that any students employed full-time by Monash University, on a continuing basis or a fixed-term contract for 12 months or more are ineligible for coursework scholarships and grants
Supporting documentation
You will be required to upload your supporting documentation at step 7 of the application as a PDF file. Make sure to label the file with your full name and Monash student ID.
Please note that hard copy documentation that is posted to us will not be accepted.
Application changes
If you'd like to change your application after submitting it, make an online request for us to delete your original application. You can then log in and submit a new application.
VTAC course applicants
VTAC students who apply for courses at Monash do not need to submit a separate application to be considered for any of our scholarships. Eligible students will be automatically assessed based on their ATAR, or for equity scholarships, their Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) application.
International applicants
If you're an international student and apply directly to Monash or through an agent, you'll be automatically considered for merit scholarships (scholarships based on your academic performance).
A separate application form must be submitted for the:
- KC Kuok Scholarship
- Monash Humanitarian Scholarship (VTAC applicants will be automatically considered based on SEAS)
Deferring a scholarship
Some scholarships and grants can be deferred. Refer to the individual scholarship listings for further information. If your scholarship is deferrable, you will be able to choose that option when you respond to your scholarship offer.
Research degree applicants
For masters by research or doctorate scholarships you must apply through the Monash Graduate Education
