Events and programs

Following the Australian Government’s advice aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19, Monash has made the difficult decision not to proceed with several events or to offer them via an alternate formats.

Monash Scholars

Monash Scholars targets high-achieving students from Year 10-12 and gives them a unique insight into university life. It provides opportunities for personal and academic development, gives students the knowledge, skills and confidence to make the right study choices and enables them to build a  network  of  peers, academic, and employment contacts.

Inside Monash Seminars

Students, parents and friends are invited to attend an Inside Monash Seminar. At the seminar, students will get the inside story of what it’s really like to study at Monash. They will hear from a current student, a past student and an academic.

Monash Information Evenings

We're coming to you! Ask us everything you ever wanted to know about studying at Monash, including our courses, international opportunities, accommodation, scholarships, how to apply, and where your degree can take you.

School visits

Staff from Onshore Student Recruitment are available to visit secondary schools to give presentations and talks throughout the year. We will also be in attendance at a number of expos around Victoria and interstate and will hold On-campus School visit weeks in which schools are encouraged to bring students to visit us on campus. More information at the link above.

Campus Tours

Throughout the year both Onshore Student Recruitment and Faculties offer scheduled Campus Tours across our campuses. This is a great opportunity for students to see and experience each of our campuses.

International Student Experience Day

This event is for international Year 11 and 12 VCE and IB students, and provides them with a taste of what it's like to study at Monash. The day includes interactive faculty-run workshops that explore different subject areas; a VCE EAL masterclass and the chance for students to hear from current international students about their experience.
