Artificial Intelligence and Biomedical Science - C2006
The Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence and Bachelor of Biomedical Science combines technical capability with deep scientific knowledge of human health and disease.
You'll choose between two AI specialisations: Applied Artificial Intelligence, which focuses on applying existing AI technologies to solve real-world challenges, or Artificial Intelligence Algorithms and Models, which explores the technical foundations of AI and how it's designed, developed and evolved.
Build your technical capability through embedded professional practice units engaging real organisations and other work-integrated learning opportunities such as placements and internships.
Pair this with specialist Biomedical Science study, where you'll develop practical laboratory and research skills with deep knowledge of human biology, health and disease.
With this dual skillset, you’ll be equipped to explore how AI can accelerate biomedical discoveries and support their translation into clinical practice, while gaining the communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills needed across research and healthcare environments.

You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.
