Multiple Scholarships
Scholarships offered after 2021
Holding multiple scholarships is restricted to ensure fair distribution of scholarship funding among a broader pool of students. Exceptions to this rule may occur when scholarships are awarded based on different criteria, such as academic merit, financial need, or leadership, as these relate to distinct aspects of a student’s profile.
The majority of our scholarships are categorised into groups. Typically, more than one scholarship from within the same group is not permitted. Unless otherwise stated on the individual scholarship website or scholarship offer letter, holding concurrent scholarships from different groups is not considered a conflict.
More than one tuition fee scholarship/sponsorship cannot be held concurrently

More than one merit scholarship cannot be held concurrently
- Sir John Monash Scholarships for Achievement
- Sir John Monash Scholarships for Distinction

More than one equity scholarship cannot be held concurrently
- Achieving Potential Access Scholarships
- Achieving Potential Indigenous Support Scholarships (can be held together with any other scholarship including other equity category scholarships)
- Achieving Potential International Scholarship
- Achieving Potential Scholarships for Distinction
- Achieving Potential Scholarships for Excellence
- Achieving Potential Support Scholarships
More than one accommodation scholarship cannot be held concurrently
