2027 Monash Awards

All International applicants for a Monash University, Australia undergraduate or postgraduate course will be automatically assessed for a Monash Award.

  • Monash Awards are offered at $10,000 or $15,000 AUD (depending on the outcome of your assessment). Applicants must have a full offer letter to study at a Monash Australia campus.
  • You must study a minimum 18 credit point load per semester to maintain your grant.
  • This is a one- off payment paid across the first 2 semesters.

Am I eligible?*

If you apply to become a new international student at Monash University, Australia and have an offer to study, you will be automatically assessed. Monash Awards are awarded based on select eligibility criteria including:

  • Study level - new commencing students undertaking undergraduate and Masters degrees are eligible#.
  • Academic criteria - students must meet academic entry requirements and have a full offer letter to study at a Monash Australia campus.
  • Location - Monash is committed to providing equitable access to education from under-represented regions and countries. We are also dedicated to building a diverse student body cohort across our course offering.

Students from the following countries are not eligible for the 2027 Monash Awards: India, Vietnam, China, Philippines, Thailand and Mauritius. Competitive awards are available to these students. Click here to learn more.

Students in receipt of other scholarships or sponsorships that pay part or all of their fees are not eligible for this scholarship. If you have already accepted a Monash study grant and choose to accept this scholarship, the study grant will no longer be valid.
