As the world becomes increasingly connected, cybersecurity professionals play a critical role in protecting systems, networks, applications and data.
The Bachelor of Cybersecurity develops the technical expertise to identify cyber threats, manage risk and build secure digital systems that safeguard people, organisations and critical infrastructure.
Throughout the course, you'll explore software security, network security, cloud security, digital forensics and securing AI systems while learning how to protect organisations across the cybersecurity lifecycle.
Through embedded professional practice units, you'll apply your knowledge in authentic projects engaging industry – building a tangible portfolio that demonstrates your experience.
You'll also have the chance to pursue further work-integrated learning opportunities that count toward your degree, like a placement with a leading company.

Entry Requirements (Domestic students)
There are many ways to be considered for entry to a Monash University degree depending on your educational background and history. The below options reflect the academic requirements for the different applicant categories (or the highest level of education previously completed) to be considered for this Monash course. All applicants must satisfy equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites or equivalent tertiary units including the English language requirements.

You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.
