You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.
Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)
Qualifications
Your entry level will determine how many units you must complete to graduate with a Master of Marketing and Digital Communications. The Master of Marketing and Digital Communications offers two pathways to entry.
Depending on prior qualifications:
Entry level 1 - 72 points to complete. Duration: 2 years part time | An Australian bachelor degree in a relevant* discipline, with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60, or equivalent qualification approved by the faculty. OR An Australian bachelor degree, with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60, or equivalent qualification and at least two years of relevant work experience approved by the faculty. OR An Australian bachelor degree and an Australian graduate certificate in a relevant* discipline, with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60, or equivalent qualification approved by the faculty. *Relevant disciplines include: Business, Humanities, Marketing and Social Sciences |
Entry level 2: 48 points to complete | A Monash University Graduate Certificate of Marketing and Digital Communications and achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60. |

The course is structured in two parts:
- Part A. Core master's study
- Part B. Advanced expertise
All students complete Part A. Depending upon prior qualifications, you may receive credit for Part B.
Note that if you are eligible for credit for prior studies you may elect not to receive the credit.
Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise stated.
Partner with another course
Double degree courses allow you to study towards two different degrees at the same time, and graduate with two separate qualifications. And because a required subject in one course can count as an elective in the other, our double degrees take up to two years less than if you studied for the two degrees separately.
