They offer career counselling and support, mentoring, research development opportunities as well as networking to help junior doctors and medical students in the early stages of their career.
Explore Leongatha and South Gippsland
Leongatha is located on the Great Southern Rail Trail. This 87 kilometres walking, cycling and horse riding trail begins in Korumburra and extends south-east to Port Welshpool, passing through a number of small towns which offer visitors refreshments and attractions such as wineries, galleries and antique shops. Scenic views of Wilsons Promontory National Park can be enjoyed from the trail around the Foster area. You can also experience a wide range of cultural events and festivals at Leongatha throughout the year. The weekly Koonawarra Park Run is a great way to keep fit and socialise. The town also boasts numerous shops, galleries and museums devoted to the local arts and crafts of the region.
