Mildura is a city of approximately 32,000 people.  It is situated in north-west Victoria, approximately 550 kilometres from Melbourne and 400 kilometres from Adelaide.

The Monash Rural Health site at Mildura is equipped with a clinical simulation centre, conference rooms, student lounge areas and kitchen, resource area and student accommodation. There is also a medical library, providing an additional place to study and learn. Conveniently located next door to Mildura Base Public Hospital and across the road from Mildura Health Private Hospital students are able to experience hands-on training in a well-supported environment, with expert clinical staff and lecturers in a range of specialties.

With student accommodation on site, students develop a strong collegiate relationship through living and working together. Being located close to the hospital, students are able to fully immerse in the hospital environment and become valued members of clinical teams. Students also enjoy the relaxed environment of living in Mildura, with fantastic local attractions, shopping, dining and nightlife to enjoy.
