David Metz
Dr David Metz is a paediatric nephrologist, paediatric clinical pharmacologist and clinician-researcher. His PhD investigated methods to increase precision in mycophenolic acid dosing in kidney transplantation, through clinical trial and pharmacometric analysis. His research continues in this field, alongside active translation into clinical care. He is also medical lead of the Monash Children’s Clinical Trial Centre at Monash Health, which is involved in both commercial and investigator-initiated therapeutic trials to increase access to, and improve safety and effectiveness of, therapeutic drugs used in children.
