Mannix College’s annual Newman Public Lecture will be delivered by Professor Bryan Horrigan, the University’s Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Law.

Professor Horrigan, Louis Waller Chair of Law and an academic resident and tutor of law at Mannix College, will speak on ‘The Social Responsibility of Everyone: Actions for Pupils, Professors, Professionals and Politicians’.

A Rhodes Scholar, Professor Horrigan is the author of Corporate Social Responsibility in the 21st Century (2010) and is a leading international authority in the field of corporate social responsibility. 

The lecture, named in honour of English Catholic Theologian and Educator, John Henry Newman, will be delivered on Wednesday 3 August at 8.30pm at Mannix College, located on Wellington Road, opposite the University’s Clayton Campus.

All members of the Monash community are warmly invited to what promises to be yet another entertaining and thought-provoking Newman Public Lecture.
