Why did you decide to study science? 
I wanted to have a range of career options at the end of my studies. Studying both Science and Global Studies has given me a really comprehensive understanding of both the technical and social aspects of complex environmental issues that I may have to tackle throughout my career.

What made you choose Monash Uni in particular?
I absolutely love the Clayton Campus, and I heard that Monash had some of the best teaching, education facilities, and opportunities for students.

What has been the highlight of your science degree so far?
Going to Mumbai, India for the Global Immersion Guarantee! The GIG allowed me to make amazing friends while exploring and studying in a new place.

What's the biggest misconception you had about studying science before you started your course?
That a Science degree is purely about practical skills. Studying science is all about asking questions and being curious, an effective communicator, and learning to solve problems.

If you were to give some advice to someone who's thinking about studying at Monash Science, what would you say?
Do it! The quality of resources, teaching staff, and facilities provided to Monash students is fantastic, and there are always new opportunities within the university to expand your horizons.

Give us a life hack or piece of advice you live by?
If you want to make the most of Uni, you will sometimes need to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Say yes to opportunities that come up, and you will reap the benefits.
