Bringing Monash and the Pacific together
We work with Pacific communities to find solutions to climate change and sustainability. Our work improves gender and security, educational attainment, health and wellbeing, and other significant regional challenges.
The Monash Sustainable Development Institute hosts the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific regional hub of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). The network focuses on building capacity and mobilising global expertise to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We welcome Australia Awards scholars from the Pacific and help them achieve their full potential.
Our interdisciplinary research spans all faculties across health and wellbeing, gender equality, sustainability, resilient communities, and teacher education.
Our staff are experts in their fields, who provide high-quality consultancy services to the international development sector.
We provide opportunities for our students, as part of their degrees, to undertake study in the Pacific.
We collaborate with our partners across the region to build a better future together.
