"During my time in Mildura I was involved in the local Women's Volleyball League as well as worked at one of the local community leisure centres. Through these opportunities I was able to make friends outside of medicine, and really be involved in the community."

"The Mildura community is one of the things that has made me want to come back to here. Many of us students played on sporting teams (such as soccer, footy, netball, volleyball and badminton teams) throughout the year which was a great way to get to know people in the community and get some exercise. Through Monash I was also involved in multiple community programs such as Mini Monash Academy Day’s where we taught local high school students things like CPR and how to do back-slabs; as well as running incursions for primary school kids through the Monash Teddy Bear Hospital."
