Jack Gerrard graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2020 after seven years at Monash. In 2018, Jack competed in the men’s 200 metre freestyle event at the 2018 FINA World Swimming Championships in Hangzhou, China and represented Monash at the Australian University Nationals (Division 1), claiming three Games records!

"When liaising with my faculty, being a member of the ESPS provided the reassurance of being associated with a legitimate university program and enabled Team Monash to advocate on my behalf if I ever had trouble reaching a positive solution. The ESPS also assisted me with international travel grants and the chance to meet like-minded students at Monash who shared similar passions."
