Quiet Space
The Quiet Space is designed to be a safe, sensory-friendly environment primarily for those seeking some quiet and calm, alongside any support person/s, they may choose to invite. This is not a study, social or children’s play area.
Open to all students, staff and users of Monash Sport, this space is located on our ground floor at Monash Sport Clayton. Walk past the cafe and it is the first door on the right-hand side of the hallway.
Key features:
- 2 rooms, separated by a small hallway
- Couch and pillows in each room
- Light dimmers
- Serene posters and artificial plants
- Fidget utensils and activities on the table in each room
- Mindfulness tips
- Resources directing users to support services available at Monash University
