Jess graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2020. When she’s not working as a surgical registrar, Jess can be found on the field pursuing her other passion: professional futsal. A general surgery trainee who operates on the pancreas, gallbladder and liver, she balances the demands of a full-time medical career with elite sport. Jess was part of Australia’s first-ever women’s national futsal side and has proudly represented her country at the World Futsal Championships in New Zealand, contributing to a historic moment for the sport in Australia.
