This free event is a glowing opportunity to try out Zumba and join in the fiesta of fun with friends. Join us this WinterFest for a night bursting with colour, energy, great music and entertainment!

We welcome everyone in our Monash Sport community to join us for a night fueled by colourful energy, your favourite Latin, RnB, Bollywood, Rock n Roll, Salsa and Pop tracks and of course Zumba!

Zumba After Dark is a dance party with a difference. Partygoers can expect a fun and exhilarating night filled with amazing instructors, vibrant lighting, and awesome dance moves to get you moving this Winter!
We are hosting Zumba After Dark to highlight that workouts can be fun, engaging, vibrant and different every day. Encouraging participation in our health and wellbeing activities can promote an active and enjoyable university life experience, emphasise a positive study-life balance and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people.
We feel the Zumba After Dark vibe encapsulates the Monash Sport member experience with vibrant, exciting, active and inclusive opportunities that everyone can enjoy. We look forward to ditching the workout and enjoying the party with you.

- Bring your shop.Monash ticket via a printout or showcasing on your smartphone. Get your device ready for our event staff to scan your ticket on the way in and collect your free arrival gift!

We encourage you to travel light but if you do need to bring any additional belongings Monash Sport have lockable lockers on-site you can access on the night. There will also be a cloakroom available at the event but spaces will be limited.
It’s completely up to you. But we know how much fun you will be having and you won’t want to leave! Doors will open at 6 pm with lots for you to see and do before the dance party begins. The Zumba session will be 90 minutes with a half-time break but we encourage you to take it at your own pace and take as many breaks as you like throughout. This session is catered to all fitness levels. Please take a break whenever you like and enjoy our glow fairy floss, photo booth and face painting areas. There will also be a 10-minute break in the middle of the event for you to rest and recharge. It's your time to glow, so take the event at your own pace.
Yes, of course! Zumba caters to all fitness and skill levels, so you don’t need any experience before attending this event. Just bring a can-do attitude and our experienced instructors will guide you through.
We are thrilled to invite Monash University staff, students and the wider community to our Zumba After Dark event. The only requirement is you need to be above the age of 16 to attend.

Although Zumba After Dark is a FREE event, you must secure your spot to attend the event.
On the night: Get your device ready for our event staff to scan your ticket on the way in and collect your free arrival gift! Upon purchasing your Zumba After Dark ticket, you will have received an email confirmation. Please locate this email and open the attached PDF ticket so it is ready for our staff to scan.
Yes, we do! Check out our group fitness timetables by campus to find out when our next Zumba class is on! You can attend our group fitness classes a casual visit pass or with our Zumba After Dark SPECIAL OFFER. Take out an eligible membership and receive the first 2 Weeks Free’ on a NEW Fitness or Fitness and Aquatics Monash Sport membership. Plus for Monash staff, check out the staff SWAP flex pass.
Zumba is a program that fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness dance program.
Our Zumba After Dark event will tie in many genres of dance styles which will include 70;s, 80’s, 90’s, Retro, Pop, Latin, Hip Hop and many more. Our event is not just Zumba, but a mix of dancing, music, games and one in WinterFest experiences for you to enjoy.
We recommend comfy, workout clothing for you to move and groove to the beat of Zumba. Closed-toe shoes are a must so you can move safely with us throughout the night. We encourage everyone to dress bright and get their glow on!
Onsite parking is available at Monash Clayton Campus. The ticketed and blue + red permit zones become free after 4pm.
Monash students and staff can use the free shuttle buses to travel between campuses by scanning their M-Pass ID upon boarding. For more information on bus times, please visit this webpage.
