Through the collection of information and creating a database by: visiting Bell Bardia Estate and observing, mapping, diagramming, collaging, sketching etc. allowed for an in-depth awareness of the qualities of our individual sites and we were challenged to create a new taxonomy and to rehabilitate the identity of social housing through infill/repair.

Through an attempt at developing a contemporary design I hope to balance the needs of the residents (predominantly private open space) and the way the public interacts with a space that hangs between public and private.
