Material interrogation and colour exploitation inform a practice that is multi- disciplinary working across the genres of drawing, artist books, collage, casting, sculpture, installation, performance and participatory art. A pivotal focus of recent work has been large scale, site specific installations which embrace an exhaustive exploration of commercially unviable materials, investigate spatial concepts and invite audience participation. A highly coloured often fluoro palette is integral to the work, as is the use of prescriptive materials used in a non- prescriptive context. Placement of the work is extensively trialled to achieve maximum visibility, invite viewer engagement and to facilitate participatory interaction with the performance.
