The Shared modular system gives users control of their domestic space through flexible furniture configurations. The spatial outcome identifies key living requirements through a plugin system of block forms and surface materials that are flexible and can be adapted, as the family’s needs change. Smaller dwellings through medium density and multigenerational living are sustainable with the integration of communal and social spaces for residents and the wider public. This proposal has proven that through customization of space using modular systems combined with integrated social spaces, medium density living can provide efficient spatial dwellings of the future.
