Gabriella Duffy is a multi-disciplinary artist with an interest in light in relation to time and space. In the work window study Duffy uses video animation and projection to create a simulation of light beaming through the window of her studio, and attempts to mimic the light path from the Sun as it traverses the space during a day. The site specific projection aims to encourage the viewer to consider their own position in the space, the position of the sun and how this projected light manipulates and activates the space, creating a temporal replacement of reality with an alternate light trajectory.
