Mental Health and Wellbeing
World-class mental health research and wellbeing care
It’s time for transformative change through a collaborative effort to create better understanding and creative and innovative solutions for mental health and wellbeing challenges - not for, but with those with lived and living experience - who have had their specific needs ignored for too long.
Monash MNHS is committed to taking a multidisciplinary approach to answer some of the pressing questions needed to help people with mental health challenges to thrive and to support wellbeing

- Supporting resilient brains and behaviours, including via early identification, monitoring and intervention.
- From strengths-based approaches, informed by community resilience and systemic social issues of inequity and disadvantage, intolerance, discrimination and violence.
- Inclusive of researchers and community experts identifying as having lived and living experience, family carer’s experience, lived and living experience allies, peer worker network collaborators, clinicians, practitioners and researchers including in health, education and social care services, government, and other workplaces and everyday settings.
