Outreach
At the Centre of Human Anatomy Education, we’re passionate about sharing our love of anatomy beyond the Monash community.
AskAnatomist podcast

The AskAnatomist podcast is hosted by Associate Professor Michelle Lazarus, director of the Centre for Human Anatomy Education.
A podcast for the medically curious, each episode explores an interesting topic in anatomy, discussed by a panel of multi-disciplinary experts. From thunderstorm asthma to teeth and the paleo diet, AskAnatomist takes you inside the human body and answers all your anatomy questions.
School tours

We love inspiring the next generation of anatomy enthusiasts!
Under the current COVID restrictions, we’re not running any school tours but would love to show you around when it’s safe to do so. In the meantime, you can take a virtual tour of the Centre for Human Anatomy Education teaching laboratories.

Friends4Fiji

Being able to enhance anatomy education worldwide is something we’re extremely proud of.
We have partnered with the Umanand Prasad School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Fiji, delivering anatomy education in the Pacific region. As part of this, we’ve provided anatomy teaching resources and sponsored an anatomy tour, with Friends4Fiji.

Donation of Anatomy 3D prints
Following on from Prof McMenamin’s work in Liberia in late 2015, the Monash Anatomy 3D Printing lab within the Centre for Human Anatomy Education (CHAE) continues to look at ways to assist LMIC in anatomy education. Prof McMenamin spoke on this topic at Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) annual meeting in Melbourne in May, 2021.
